Target crops: Rice and other cereal crops
Disease Control Agent – Tricyclazole 700g/kg + Kasugamycin 77g/kg
Tricyclazole 700g/kg + Kasugamycin 77g/kg is a systemic fungicide widely used in agriculture to control fungal diseases in rice, especially rice blast.
| Crop | Target Disease | Dosage | Timing | Application Method |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Rice | Leaf blast, Neck blast, Kernel smut | 0.3–0.4 kg/ha | Spray when blast disease reaches 5% incidence | Use approximately 500 L water/ha; pre-harvest interval: 7–14 days |
This fungicide is developed by the R&D team at Thuận Thành Phát, incorporating advanced adjuvant technology.
Composition: Tricyclazole 700g/kg + Kasugamycin 77g/kg
Formulation: WP (Wettable Powder) – Solid water-dispersible powder with fine particles forming a suspension
Solubility: Well soluble in water
Characteristics:
Ultra-fine particles with excellent adhesion to stems and leaves, long-lasting
Resistant to washing off, effective even in adverse weather
Relatively safe for crops and livestock
Systemic action with rapid translocation
Strong systemic activity with long-lasting effects
Prevents infection by Pyricularia oryzae, the pathogen causing leaf blast and neck blast
Specifically targets rice blast (leaf and neck blast)
Enhances plant growth, improves yield, produces firm and bright grains, reduces breakage during milling
4.1 Tricyclazole
Tricyclazole belongs to the Triazole Benzothiazole group. It specifically targets rice leaf and neck blast, maintaining leaf greenness and erect leaves while preventing leaf burning.
Inhibits melanin formation in fungal spore cells, weakening hyphae so they cannot penetrate plant tissues
Prevents disease spread and development
Stable in the environment; not easily degraded by sunlight or water
Strongly absorbed through roots and leaves, enhancing disease control
Follow label instructions carefully and avoid direct contact to ensure human and environmental safety
4.2 Kasugamycin
Kasugamycin is an aminoglycoside antibiotic that inhibits protein synthesis at the ribosome formation stage, suppressing the growth of bacteria and fungi.
Used to prevent rice blast and bacterial diseases caused by Pseudomonas, Erwinia, Xanthomonas, and Corynebacterium on crops such as tomato, chili, potato, carrot, and cabbage
Should be applied at the early onset of disease
Rapidly absorbed into plant tissues
Not stable under sunlight and easily decomposed in the natural environment
Does not accumulate in water or in fish, making it environmentally safe
