3. Uses of Pymetrozine 300g/kg + Buprofezin 255g/kg

This formulation combines two leading active ingredients with multiple modes of action, including contact action, ingestion toxicity, and bidirectional systemic movement.

The product can enter the plant through leaves or roots to control insect pests.

The insecticide penetrates plant tissues immediately after spraying, reducing dependence on weather conditions and minimizing wash-off into canals or waterways, thus lowering environmental contamination.

4. Mode of Action of Pymetrozine 300g/kg + Buprofezin 255g/kg

4.1. Mode of Action – Pymetrozine 300g/kg

Pymetrozine is a systemic insecticide with contact and ingestion activity, featuring a unique mode of action.

It targets the nerve cells controlling the salivary glands of piercing–sucking insects. When these glands stop functioning, insects are unable to feed, leading to starvation and death.

With its “three-lock mechanism”lock the mouthparts, lock movement, and lock reproduction—the active ingredient stops feeding and inhibits reproduction within 1 hour after exposure.

4.2. Mode of Action – Buprofezin 255g/kg

Buprofezin disrupts insect growth by inhibiting chitin synthesis, an essential component of the insect exoskeleton.

This prevents proper molting, causing deformities in larval or adult stages and ultimately leading to death.

Although it does not directly kill adult insects, Buprofezin reduces their lifespan and reproductive capacity. Eggs laid by affected insects fail to hatch, or newly hatched larvae die quickly.

Thanks to these multi-level effects, Buprofezin is highly effective in controlling pest populations.
